Advocate Harbour Bed and Breakfast
Our 1870 Era Home Our 1870 era home awaits you in
picturesque Advocate Harbour Nova Scotia. The Acadians originally settled this
region, with the old Acadian dykes still in evidence. After the tragic
expulsion of the Acadians in 1755, the Spicer’s obtained the land grant as
one of the original settlers to the region from England in 1790. While
retaining much of the charm of the original structure, you will enjoy all
the comforts of our modern times in this completely restored home. Free
wireless Internet. Your Private Entrance This is your private entrance and deck. A wonderful place to enjoy the evening sun. Large chestnut trees provide shade from the noon sun. The old door has the original copper doorbell – quite unique in design!
Your Room Your room on the first floor has large bay windows overlooking the Bay of Fundy and the village of Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia. Light and airy, it is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Queen size bed and luxury mattress. You can come and go using the private entrance. You also may want to enjoy the comfort of the fireplace downstairs in the living room or read a book in a lawn chair under the big trees in the garden.
